Should We Visit USS? YES!

Universal Studio Singapore is one of my best choice to run away from the hectic working life!

Why?

BECAUSE THE RIDES ARE TOTALLY AWESOME!

It's beyond of my expectation.

Before i start, i want to tell you 3 important facts, such as:

1. You can bring food to USS. (Actually i put bread in my bag and they didn't check my bag, so i assume it's fine)

2. There's a probability you can get wet, so it's better to bring clothes or rain coat.

• The rides that can make you wet is Jurassic park rapid adventure (You can get really wet but only in one unpredictable seat) and Water world (if you seat near to the pool),

1. There's wifi!

Actually, those questions were mine before, hope it's your questions too and can be useful for you.

Here i'm going to tell you, why you should get there!

To make it easier, here i show you the map of USS!

USS has 7 Areas, such as:

1. Madagascar.

2. Far far away.

3. The lost world.

4. Ancient egypt.

5. Sci-fi City.

6. New York.

7. Hollywood,

The first time you come in, you will visit Hollywood!!

Because the structure of the place is circle, so you can continue to "New York or Madagascar area", it's up to you.

I was starting the rides from Madagascar and i recommend you to start from Madagascar as well because

• Most of the rides in New York and Sci-fi have advance level. So if you want to play from the beginner to advance level, you can choose Madagascar area as the opening.

• Second, The rides in New York and Sci-fi have really long queue in the daylight. Well, Madagascar and far far away area also have long queue, but i'm sure it's better than in the New York and Sci-fi.

So now, i'm going to tell you about my impression about the rides which i took and made my day in that time.

1. Madagascar Crate Adventure.

• Queue time: It's my first rides and i was waiting for 40 minutes probably more.

• Desc of the rides: I took a small boat to see the groups of Madagascar's statue that produce a story line.

• My impression about it, umm just okay, not that good but not bad as well

1. Water World.

• Queue time: No queue, I didn't wait to watch the show because i missed the beginning.

• Desc of the show: I can't really explain the story of the show, but the only thing i know, it's about pirates and his girlfriend that fight with the other pirates.

• My impression about it is the effect of water, fire, equipment, etc are totally awesome! Acting and performance of the actors and actresses are really anesthetized.

1. Canopy Flyer.

• Queue time: I was waiting for it around 20-30 minutes, Thanks God! not that long.

• Desc of the rides: The rides is like you are riding a flying dinosaur.

• My impression: It's interesting rides for me! because it's like glider but it's high, calm and more exciting.

1. Jurassic park rapid adventure.

• Queue time: The best queue in USS for me, because i was waiting for 2 hours to play it.

• Desc of the rides: The rides is like rafting with dinosaurs statue anywhere.

• My impression: It's a nice rides, i enjoyed it! A bit same like "Arung Jeram" in Dufan, Jakarta but USS has some cool surprises inside! I won't give you (spoiler) details of the ride's pathway, but the thing that i can tell you that i'm not regret to wait for 2 hours to play it. it's good.

1. Revenge of Mummy.

• Queue time: I was waiting for around 30 minutes. The queue were starting slightly, because it's getting late, around at 4 pm.

• Desc of the rides: The rides is indoor jet coaster that have a story inside and crazy pathway.

• My impression is amazing! It has unpredictable pathway and a lot of surprises inside. It's MUST PLAY RIDES!

1. Battlestar Galactica: Human.

• Queue time: I was waiting for an hour or probably less.

• Desc of the rides: It's outdoor jet coaster, the red one!

• My impression: Huft this part! i was actually afraid, but i felt I HAVE TO TRY IT! because i 'thought', Battlestar Galactica: Human and Cylon are the rides star in USS! and yap! It's really scary rides, it has "some" pathway which comes to the really top and going to the significant down. If you are a people that love challenge! It's also must play rides.

1. Battlestar Galactica: Cylon.

• Queue time: I was waiting for 20 minutes or probably less.

• Desc of the rides: It's outdoor jet coaster, the grey one!

• My impression: It's also a rides that made me nervous while in the queue, but still I HAVE TO TRY IT! It looks more challenging than the red one a.k.a Battlestar Galactica: Human. Then it's true! the pathway is more insane, it's really shaking you!

• But if you are curious, which scarier between Battlestar Galactica: Human and Cylon?

• "My opinion" is Battlestar Galactica: Human is scarier than Cylon. Why?

• Even Battlestar Galactica: Cylon has more insane pathway, trust me it is!

• But, Battlestar Galactica: Human has "some" pathway which comes to the really top and going to the significant down and i really afraid of any rides that have it.

1. TRANSFORMERS: The Ride-3D.

• Queue time: I was waiting for 45 minutes probably more, they have many rooms that we have to visit when we were queuing. I was really cranky because i felt 'i had visit a lot of rooms when i queuing, but i don't know how many more rooms that i have to visit to get to the rides'.

• Desc of the rides: It's indoor jet coaster which bring us to a mission, so we have to follow transformers with 3D glasses to make it more real.

• My impression? is BRAVO!! MUST PLAY RIDE! Actually when i was queuing, i had no idea what it is until when i played it, it made me scream a lot times because i was too impressed and excited.

1. Sesame Street Spaghetti Space Chase.

• Queue time: I waited for 5 minutes probably less, it was at 6 pm.

• Desc of the rides: A bit same as 'Madagascar Crate Adventure' but here it has train not boat, to bring you to see the statue of Sesame Street characters.

• My impression is just good, better than Madagascar Crate Adventure,, but if you have a kid, make sure he/she rides it!

1. Lights, camera, action!

• Queue time: I didn't wait to see the show.

• Desc of the rides: Steven Spielberg is an American filmmaker which will show you, how was the real effect that have been used to make the movie without any computer favor.

• My impression: It's really cool! i really impressed to 'know', how america film has been really advance by having amazing "real effect" of the water, wind, fire and amazing equipment. Much more than it, i really impressed because i 'felt' it!!

1. Sesame street show - Elmo's TV Time.

• Queue time: I waited for 30 minutes, the time has been set every xx, xxx and the one that i remember is at 9.30 pm and i have arrived around there at 9 o'clock. So i waited outside, without made any line.

• Desc of the rides: It's a musical show that telling a story about Elmo's TV Time.

• My impression? a bit disappointing, not worthy to wait. The end of the show was weird.

I just can took 11 rides there, but it makes me satisfied already! Really make me refresh, especially from the hectic working life. And thank God it's true, when i'm back to Jakarta, I feel fresh and ready to undergo working life!
